The goal of SAFE BARS, INC. is crime prevention through education and training. By forging strong partnerships between SAFE BARS, INC., law enforcement and the business community our goal is to reduce crime and lower the incidence of police and other agency involvement.
The results of the formation of SAFE BARS, INC. has been nothing short of spectacular. Police have noted dramatic drops in the Calls for Service at these establishments. The AGCO has not had to spend any significant time at these establishments and this has resulted in a reduction in the workload of the AGCO Legal and Hearings department. The SAFE BARS, INC. program has been such a success that noted Insurance Company, Ches - Special Risk, a subsituary of Lloyds of London has partnered with SAFE BARS, INC. and mandated that all new applicants be required to take SAFE BARS, INC. training before approval of insurance.
The client base for SAFE BARS, INC. ranges from small restaurants and bars, to large taverns and night clubs, to hotels and destination resorts. All current and past clients of SAFE BARS, INC. have stated the program is very extensive and all encompassing. Staff are now very well trained in not only the LLA and other training components but also the expectations of Police Services and the AGCO. This has resulted in significant savings in insurance liability and premiums, legal fees and has also resulted in an improved reputation for certain licenced premises.
